OPAL-RT’s mission is to provide cutting-edge real-time simulation technology to engineers and researchers around the world.
Client Expectations:
Opal-RT wanted to redesign completely their website to make it more modern, user-friendly and to offer new features. Once finished, the client also wished to be able to manage entirely his website on his own and integrate an e-commerce section.
About the project:

The Challenges:
There were two main challenges. The first one was to make sure that this very technical website would be more user-friendly. The second one was to link Opal-RT’s SharePoint database of resources with the website and ensure that this integration runs smoothly. As soon as a resource, a document or a video is modified on SharePoint, it is automatically updated on the website as well. The solution is more flexible for the client. He can edit the content of the pages on WordPress and he can easily keep using his internal tool.
An E-commerce section on the website is also a challenge. OPAL-RT will be able to create all his products and bundles and also to import them automatically.
