Mandate
We were tasked with developing a web and mobile application to facilitate the estimation of staircase projects. The mobile tool is used by estimators in the field, while the web application is used by account managers in the office.
After their previous agency closed, Intermat entrusted us with the migration of their web and mobile applications from Amazon AWS to Microsoft Azure. An update was also required to support the new .NET and iOS versions.
Challenges
We faced several challenges during this project. There was minimal documentation available from the previous agency, complicating the transfer of necessary information. Despite multiple attempts, we were unable to discuss the system with the original developer, forcing us to analyze and understand the system independently. Additionally, we needed to migrate from older versions of Windows Server and SQL Server to more current versions.
