Mandate
The mandate involved a comprehensive redesign of the website to promote the consumption of dates from the Coachella Valley. The site now features original and unique recipes, provides information on the nutritional benefits of dates, and highlights the unique history of the region.

Challenges
One of the main challenges was integrating a robust management module for recipes to ensure the website is both useful and efficient. This requirement significantly narrowed the choice of compatible themes, compelling us to adopt a theme that had not been previously tested or used by our team. Despite these constraints, our team successfully tested and integrated the new theme, delivering the project on time for presentation at the association’s annual meeting.
California Dates
The California Dates Association is dedicated to promoting date producers in the Coachella Valley, a premier international resort area in the desert region of Southern California. This region is home to cities such as Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and Indian Wells and is the leading grower of dates in the United States, annually producing more than 70 million pounds of dates.
