Appwapp has been around for more than 10 years, and in the digital world, that makes us ancestors! 

One of our secrets is our founder who is very technical by nature and who breathes digital!

Appwapp is Jean-René’s vision of the digital world and therefore positions us as a reference in the field.

One week, JR had so many meetings he was barely in the office so we created a placeholder to keep his presence with us. 

 At 43, he has over 30 years of development experience. Yes, for real, he was coding in the pre-public era of the internet. At age 15, he was offered his first job as a developer, which he had to turn down due to the conflict of having a full-time job while still in high school.

Jean-René est un bon leader a l’écoute de tous. Il permet a tous de travailler ou d’expérimenter dans les sujets qui leur sont intéressant. Via la transparence et les discussions, il serait difficile d’avoir un meilleur boss.

Jean-René, un patron avec un cœur d’un papa!, la personne qui m’a mis là où je mérite d’être, chanceux d’être un membre de sa famille d’Appwapp.

Je me considère chanceuse d’avoir un patron comme Jean-René, qui voit seulement les solutions lorsque nous rencontrons une embûche. Ça nous amène à nous dépasser sans limites en sachant que nous pouvons compter sur son appui. Merci JR !

“He’s awesome” :-)

Jean-René est un gars vraiment pas compliqué avec qui on peut discuter de ses idées. Malgré sa très longue expérience dans le domaine, il reste facile d’approche. Il sait faire ressortir le meilleur de nous en nous permettant de vivre notre passion. Il aime être proche de son Team, c’est pour lui le cœur de son entreprise. J’ai la chance de travailler avec un vrai bon leader qui sait faire confiance et comprend l’étendu du talent et de l’expérience de chacun.

Je me sens très honoré d’avoir pu croiser la route de Jean René. Je travaille avec lui depuis plusieurs années maintenant et je peux attester sans hésitation de son professionnalisme, de son expérience et de sa volonté de tout faire pour satisfaire ses clients et ses collaborateurs. Mais l’aspect sur lequel je souhaite le plus insister est que Jean René est une personne de grand coeur, de confiance et sur qui l’on peut compter.

JR is more than just our CEO, JR is the beating heart of our little tight and talented team, not only does he take care of the company but he’s always making sure that all of us are cared for and appreciated, working alongside such a positive character is empowering and pushes you to be better a little bit more everyday, in a world where leaders rely on the factor or fear to motivate, having someone who genuinely uses his kind and caring heart to pull us all together is a breath of fresh air.

Jean-René n’est pas notre patron mais un collaborateur chez Appwapp. Je crois que cette phrase résume beaucoup de choses sur sa personnalité et ses philosophies de vie. C’est totalement mon plaisir de faire partie de son équipe.

Jean-Rene is one of those rare guys you feel you’re working WITH rather than FOR.

Jean-René, thank you for being an amazing boss, I couldn’t wish for a better one. You are always helping out and making my life easier. I have learned a lot with your clear explanations. Thank you for being so easygoing, that makes me love my job and feel comfortable at work just like at home.

Je travaille, et vit, avec lui depuis 22 ans (and counting!). Love this guy (obviously) and love to work with him. It’s always fun to be with you and next to you every single day.
