Appwapp’s journey in supporting health research projects

The CHUM Foundation
The advancement of health research is largely dependent on donations. We have therefore partnered with the CHUM Foundation to facilitate donations.
Below are our achievements:
- Developed an application for contactless donation terminals. These machines allow the public to donate using their bank card. It is also possible to request a tax receipt. All in just a few clicks.
- Development of a bilingual microsite to allow donors to purchase raffle tickets in accordance with the standards set by the RACJ. 24/7 technical support was available throughout the campaign.
Health Sante Info
Health Sante Info is a WordPress site that provides reliable health information online. It aims to reduce misinformation as much as possible. We provided researchers with the tools, training and design. We also carried out ergonomic tests. Finally, we implemented security measures to:
– Protect user data;
– Protect the platform from attacks.
Nunavik’s National Board of Health and Social Services

Nunavik’s National Board of Health and Social Services
We developed an online tool to analyze nurses’ workload. It collects information about their day. It then generates a report to improve workforce planning. We were responsible for:
- Needs analysis for report development
- Development, integration and hosting
- Training and support
- Wireframe refinement
A Little App About Cancer
Finally, we developed an app for children with cancer. Adults can use this tool to start a conversation with the child. The aim is to help them understand the situation and to reassure them. We also took care of the integration and the UX.
